# Do I need a Github account?

For those wondering

In case you saw this button in the footer

## Github

Github is a cloud software platform (software hosting, deployment etc).&#x20;

For VetDD, you will not need a Github account unless you wish to submit feedback via the processes described in greater depth below.

After that, you are welcome to connect your VetDD account to Github by pressing the button in the footer.
